Welcome to the Year 4 PE page 2024/25. During this year, children will receive 2 hours of Physical Education a week. For the Autumn term however, children will be taking part in swimming for 30 minutes every day. These swimming lessons are compulsory and part of the PE National Curriculum.
The primary focus within year 4 is continuing to improve upon their fundamental skills through a wide range of activities covering 6 core areas: Athletics, Dance, Games, Gymnastics, Outdoor Adventurous Activities and Swimming.
