This week, the School Council children presented their speeches in assembly to help them gain votes to become part of a Pupil Parliament. The child chosen for the Pupil Parliament will work with the heads of the L.E.A.D Academy Trust to help make decisions to improve all of its schools. This is an important role and provides the opportunity for their voices to be heard.
During lunchtime, we held a vote on the playground and gave the students the opportunity to vote for the person they thought would be able to represent our school the best and be part of a Pupil Parliament.
The person who got the most votes for Pupil Parliament was Farhan in 4 Cherry! A big well done to him and the rest of the children who participated.
The person with the second most votes was Khadeejah in 5 Pear, she will be the Deputy for Pupil Parliament.
