Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed their visit to St John the Baptist Church this week to support their learning in RE. They thought about why Christians call the day Jesus died ‘Good Friday’. They set their learning in the context of the overarching story of the bible (see pictures), watched the Easter story in Lego, explored the church to sketch parts linked to the Easter story and saw a demonstration of the meaning of Jesus’ death.
